Sticking to something for 30 days can be tough or it can be one of your proudest achievements.

It’s about committing to yourself and succeeding with something/anything that means something to you, the trick is to pick something you really want to get sorted or achieve.

It might be giving up drinking soft drink each day or committing to 30 minutes of exercise 4x over the week, each week for 30 days.

Everyone’s “thing” is different and no matter what it is, it will be a huge deal for us individually when achieved.

The trick is don’t go too big or set yourself up to fail, if I set myself a target of been able to run 10kms by the end of the month, I know there is a really high chance, that I will get to the end of the month and won’t have achieved this and will feel like I have failed. But, instead if I said at the end of the month I will be able to run 3km, and I download a training app and follow it, the chances are I will achieve, and feel proud and then the following month push the target further out, breaking it down into bite size pieces to achieve and succeed.

Is there anything that you would like to give up. Something that you feel is not working for you in your life. Can you keep your word to yourself for 30 days?
