Does Spirituality/Wairuatanga fit in with health and wellness....it sure does, in many ways it plays a big part as everyone experiences a form of spirituality in their lifestyle.

It is a broad concept with many prospectives, we have talked before about bio-individuality with food, it is the same for spirituality, for some people it is religion for others they find their spirituality in relationships, values, and life's purpose. It is what works for you, where you find your peace and calmness.

Some research shows a connection between your beliefs and your sense of wellbeing. Positive beliefs, comfort, and strength gained from religion, meditation, prayer, a soulful walk, a peaceful moment, some mindful breathing can also contribute to wellbeing, it may even help promote healing.

It is a matter of finding what works for you, not your neighbour, friend or family.... and work on ensuring each day there is time for spirituality to help promote calmness, belief, comfort and reflection, a belonging between you and our environment. MK xx
